Well as you know, I'm working in a Kindergarten class. I'm not going to lie, it has been rough.
This isn't the age group I want to teach but obviously I can't change my placement.
God has been teaching me a lot about patience lately.
I'm just trying to make the best of it!

On Friday, I prayed long and hard before I went to the school. I just wanted to have a great day and find joy in everything that happened.
{Sidenote: I'm studying the book of James right now and it's so perfect. James 1:2 "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, when you face trials of many kinds"}
Praise the Lord, I actually had a pretty good day.

The best part was definitely the story one of the students wrote about me.
Melt my heart!

Translation: I like to play with me and Sarah Burton in the playground because she is beautiful. She has beautiful hair and she has beautiful eyes.

If everyday turns out to be like this, the year will be much better than I imagined.

  2. ahhh what a sweet note for one of your children to write. and the best days are only possible if we ask God to provide and you know what when I ask, He always does!
